In Memorium - Robin Klaus

We met Robin last year with two of her friends from the ‘States and during the couple of days that they were with us we experienced many happy and excited giggles and OMG moments.

Robin had a natural affinity with our rowdy bunch of baby flying foxes in for rehabilitation, who thought her cuddles and wing cleaning technique were just the best therepy for them. They also gobbled up the fruit that she chopped for us every week (they snubbed their noses at my chopped fruit but licked the bowls clean when Robin did the fruit).

Our kangaroos enjoyed visits from Robin when she would supervise their outside-time and loved her cuddles too.

In the last 3 months. Robin took on the role of being our webmaster, with the intent to improve the effectiveness of this site and use it to increase our visibility and drum up some donations too.

We were sad to receive notice that she had passed and then humbled when we found out about her request for people to think of our sanctuary.
The Donations page that has been shared in the notification of Robin’s passing has some financial details and our main FaceBook site has banking details for direct deposits if that is easier.

Please add your comments below to share memories of Robin.
